Aroha Kids ("we", "our", or "us") is dedicated to safeguarding the privacy of our users. This Privacy Policy governs the DivyaRoop: Sacred Hindu God Wallpapers mobile application (the "App") available for Android devices.

By installing and using the App, you understand and agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

1. Information We Do NOT Collect

DivyaRoop does not collect, sell, or rent any of the following personal data:

• Your name, postal address, or physical contact information
• Your phone number or personal contacts
• Financial, payment, or banking information
• Precise GPS location data
• Biometric data or microphone/camera recordings

2. Information Collected & Third-Party Services

To serve high-definition sacred wallpapers, ensure application stability, and diagnose unexpected issues, the App integrates with reputable industry-standard services provided by Google LLC:

• Google Firebase Firestore & Cloud Storage: Used to deliver wallpaper catalogs, metadata (deity names, categories, tags), and high-resolution images. Requests transmit standard anonymous HTTP network metadata (such as IP address and protocol headers) necessary to deliver images across the web.
• Google Play Services: Used to deliver core system features, ensure authentic installation through Google Play, and manage automatic background updates.
• Firebase Crashlytics & Analytics: Used to collect aggregated, non-personally identifiable diagnostic data to help our engineering team fix bugs and improve performance. In accordance with Google Play's Data Safety declarations, this includes:
  • Device or other IDs: Anonymous app instance identifiers collected for app analytics (not shared with third parties, transmission encrypted).
  • App Info & Performance: Crash logs, diagnostics, and app performance metrics collected for app functionality and stability.

3. Content Sharing & Account Creation

• Content Sharing: Wallpaper sharing is handled exclusively through Android's standard system share sheet (Intent.ACTION_SEND) allowing you to share wallpapers to external apps of your choice (such as WhatsApp or SMS). DivyaRoop does not host internal chat rooms, direct messaging, or user-to-user communication.
• No User Accounts: You can explore and set wallpapers immediately without creating an account or providing login credentials.

3. Android Permissions and Why They Are Required

The App requests strictly minimal permissions essential to its core functions:

• Set Wallpaper (android.permission.SET_WALLPAPER): Required to apply your chosen wallpaper to your device's Home Screen, Lock Screen, or Both via the Android WallpaperManager.
• Internet Access (android.permission.INTERNET & android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE): Required to stream and download high-resolution wallpapers and deity collections from secure cloud servers.
• Post Notifications (android.permission.POST_NOTIFICATIONS): On Android 13 (API 33) and newer, this optional permission allows us to deliver daily darshan or spiritual wallpaper reminders. You can disable this permission at any time in your device system settings.
• Installed App Icon Resolution (Query Intent Activities): Used solely on-device to render authentic live Home Screen preview mockups (displaying your device's standard Phone, Messages, or Browser icons). No list of installed apps is ever transmitted, logged, or sent off your device.

4. Local Data Storage & User Preferences

All personal preferences are saved strictly on your local device storage:

• Favorites: Wallpapers marked as favorites are kept in your device's local application memory so you can access them offline.
• Image Caching: To save mobile data and provide instantaneous loading, preview images are temporarily cached on your device. You can clear this cache at any time via Android Settings → Apps → DivyaRoop → Storage → Clear Cache.

5. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

DivyaRoop is a general-audience spiritual and cultural wallpaper application. We do not knowingly target or collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe that a minor has provided us with any personal information without parental consent, please contact us immediately, and we will promptly delete any such data.

6. Security of Your Data

The security of your experience is important to us. All communication between the App and Firebase servers is encrypted in transit using industry-standard Transport Layer Security (TLS / HTTPS). We do not maintain user accounts, passwords, or personal databases.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may periodically update our Privacy Policy to reflect changes in legal requirements or app enhancements. Any updates will be posted directly to this URL with an updated "Effective Date" at the top of this document.
